Our branch is run by a committee of volunteers. We meet every 6-8 weeks, taking turns at each others houses. Meetings are informal and we have a laugh as well as doing vital branch work. Sometimes we combine the team meetings with a social activity.
We are always looking for people to join our committee and/or take one of our volunteer roles. Whole new careers have started as a result of volunteering and will enrich your CV when or if you return to work. As a volunteer you can give as much or as little time as you would like and you will meet interesting people and make good friends along the way. We are currently looking for someone to help the newsletter editing team with advertising.

The National Childbirth Trust wants all parents
to have an experience of pregnancy, birth and early parenthood that enriches
their lives and gives them confidence in being a parent. We exist to offer
information and support in pregnancy, childbirth and early parenthood.
We campaign to improve maternity care and ensure better services and facilities
for new parents. We aim to give every parent the opportunity to make informed
choices. We want to make sure that everyone has access to our services
and activities. New members, volunteers and donations to support our work
are welcome.
