CHILD DEVELOPMENT STUDY

I teach A level Health & Social Care and GCSE Child Development at the Blue School in Wells and in previous years mums and children have come in to talk to students about their experience of childbirth and bringing up children.

I am looking to re-establish that contact as many of my students do not have direct experience of young children. My 6th form students have to research children from birth to 8. I am looking for 3 to 4 volunteer Mums/Dads and children to come in on a Tuesday, either 26th June or 3rd July from 10.20-11.30 to answer questions about their experiences of parenthood and how their children are developing.

I would also like to repeat this in October for my GCSE students. It is just a one off visit, not a long term commitment, although both groups do a child study, if anyone is interested in supporting that they would be very welcome.

Thank you,

Jo Webb.
