MENDIP NCT AREA

We are an active branch spread over a wide geographical area covering part of the large County of Somerset. We belong to Region 3 of the NCT. Our district comprises of the following postcodes: BA5, BA6, BA16, BS27, BS28, TA7 and TA9. The map shows roughly the area we cover as well as the surrounding NCT branches.

Note that you don't have to live in these postcode regions to be able to join the Mendip Branch. You can ask to join this branch on your application form and you will be allocated to our branch, even if you live outside the area.

We are keen to expand our membership and continue to improve the services we offer to local parents. If you are pregnant and want to know more about how to cope with this new experience or if you already have young children and feel isolated at home and would appreciate a chat and friendship with other mums do come and meet us.

The National Childbirth Trust wants all parents to have an experience of pregnancy, birth and early parenthood that enriches their lives and gives them confidence in being a parent. We exist to offer information and support in pregnancy, childbirth and early parenthood. We campaign to improve maternity care and ensure better services and facilities for new parents. We aim to give every parent the opportunity to make informed choices. We want to make sure that everyone has access to our services and activities. New members, volunteers and donations to support our work are welcome.
