NCT MEMBERSHIP

We are an organisation of volunteer parents who have come together through the NCT. As a charity all the NCT's services are open to all parents. Anyone can attend classes, ring a breastfeeding counsellor or attend our events. The NCT is also a membership organisation and it is only through the support of all our members that we are able to provide services to all and campaign to improve maternity care for the future.

By joining the NCT you will be helping to make a difference for all parents now and in the future.

Membership is £39 for the first year and £29 per year thereafter. You will receive the quarterly NCT magazine 'New Gen' as well as our own branch newsletter. Baby Daze - which is packed with all the local news and events as well as interesting articles and birth reports.

We offer reduced subscription of £1 per annum for those entitled to free prescriptions as a result of low income or age (i.e. under 16).

Payment may made by cheque, debit or credit card or arranged by Standing Order or Direct Debit.

Members who become active within our branch may have the opportunity to train in a specific field such as Antenatal Teaching, Breastfeeding Counsellor, Postnatal Support as well as Foundation Training in subjects such as Listening and Working with People.
