HOMEBIRTH SUPPORT GROUP

Within the Mendip NCT branch a new Homebirth Support Group has recently started.

Come and meet other couples who have had a homebirth, thinking about having one or who just want to ask some questions.

Have a cuppa and a cake while you mingle with other mums and dads considering this important event.

This group has an informal format and as it is newly established we are keen to respond to the needs of those attending the group. Have you had a homebirth? Would you like to come along and share your experiences with those planning one?

We are also keen to offer relevant books or other resources (videos, birthing aids etc) in a library format - do you have anything you would like to donate to this group which may help someone planning a homebirth?

ALL are welcome, NCT members or otherwise. We will be inviting local midwives to join us as well.

Meetings will be held the second Thursday of each month, alternating between evening meetings in Puriton (near Bridgwater) and afternoon meetings in Glastonbury.

Please see the events diary for details of forthcoming meetings.
